The proportional pressure relief valve, size 02, is a directly operated valve in a differential cone construction. It allows pressures to be set proportionally to the solenoid current.

The valve opens as soon as the pressure applied to port P reaches the current setpoint value (solenoid current) thus allowing the medium to flow to port T. If the pressure drops again, the valve closes with low hysteresis. To achieve an optimal resolution, there are numerous setpoint pressure areas available. Thanks to the stepped bore M16 x 1.5 thread and a solenoid edge length of 25 mm, the EEPDBDS 02 has a very compact construction. It has a fast, accurate and low-vibration response and is relatively insensitive to oil contamination. All function-relevant parts are hardened and honed.
